Monotheistic gods seem to be formed in deserts

Ever notice how the monotheistic gods of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all came from deserts? What do you think?
Here's some food for thought:

Did they though?

Did ancient Israel count as a desert?

I don't think it did although granted it would have been hot

Well it's essentially the same god, in that those religions developed from common sources. The fact those three religions became the dominant ones across much of the world is more down to broader cultural, social and geographic factors throughout the history of the world. Other god concepts and religions developed in all sorts of different geographic environments and I'm not sure the source environment type is a primary factor in the comparatively more limited development and expansion of those other religions.
