How about Folk/Traditional? I'm not talkin' about Everly Brothers but the wide variety of world music which comprises Celtic folk (NOT new age), African traditional and the such.

Of course, then the poll would be much longer.

Well, if we could have checked as many categories as we wanted, I would have chosen all of them except Country....there's good music to be had in all those styles. The way I look at it...if you love music you are open to different types of music. I like most music if it's written and played well. Some of the most beautiful music in the world is played by symphony orchestras. I remember seeing Mostly Mozart in NYC a few years ago and crying several times during the performance because the music was just so dang beautiful. Sent shivers down my spine. Or I can have a good time listening to ear blasting rock in a sold out stadium....it's all good! :)

I enjoy music from most styles. Even those I do not particularly listen to such as country, rap and pop I sometimes find a song from those I enjoy.

I mainly enjoy classical, 70's rock, some metal (old AC/DC, Metallica, Megadeth, etc.) and have really enjoyed various folk styles over the past decade. I've even acquired a taste for the older country musicians due to their root in folk music and influence on early rock.

I picked 702 and 80s classic rock, even though 80s rock isn't "classic" and even though there are definite types of 80s that I like better, and I'm not really much into 70s, though it's defintiely relaly good.

I checked Country, but I also like rap, hard rock, metal, blues, zydeco, classical, Irish folk, American folk, bluegrass, and trance. If it's good, it's good.

I didnt' realize it was a single choice until after I got to "movie soundtracks" and clicked submit. Out of the choices, metal is my favorite.

Hmmm.. so aparently I'm the only Punk around these forums, hehehe:jam:
Well, i chose 80s because A) that's the biggest group for me and B) it encompases some punk. if they were multiple choice, I definitely would have chosen that and emo as well.

I voted Christian...because I truly do listen to more Christian music these days than anything else but I LOVE a wide variety of music and still listen to bits of everything except country...I'm not much into country music.

I could not vote because I do not hold to one genre of music. I love Punk, the Moldy Oldies, Techno... Metal, Space Rock etc...

I will be honest though, I simply would not listen to anything pre-defined as Christian music. Though that may be limiting myself, it is a risk I am happy taking.

I intensely dislike most rap, jazz and country.
