I find it interesting that you believe the reason mosquitoes bite humans is because A&E ate the apple. In any case, even if the story was true, mosquitoes feed off of more than humans.
"All adult mosquitoes feed on the nectar or honey dew of plants to get sugar, and that provides enough nourishment for both males and females to live, but females also need to produce eggs. To create eggs, females need protein, which they get from the blood of animals. Only a few species of mosquitoes can store enough energy as larvae, to produce eggs when they're adults, without needing a meal of blood.
The blood can come from humans, mammals, birds, reptiles or frogs, though most mosquitoes have a preference for a few particular sources. Some live near humans and bite them, while others choose livestock or animals first."

Well I just got taken to school on that I am wrong they do eat nectar, but I knew they ate blood of animals too
So why are mosquitoes pests today? It is Adam’s fault.
After Adam sinned, Yahweh cursed all of creation. This curse physically changed many things. The ground no longer brought forth only good crops, but now weeds, thorns, and thistles proliferated. Childbirth for women became much more painful. Snakes no longer traveled upright but were condemned to go on their belly. (Genesis 3:14-19)

I see no reference to mosquito's (sic) in Genesis. Perhaps they evolved later in all that standing water after the flood?
