Most popular Republican candidate among minorities is... Trump?

He gets people riled up, says what the people want to hear, and calls everyone idiots while ignoring his own ignorance. Not who I would want for president. "He sounds good."

That doesn't mean he's actually good.

People might go for him to help the economy because he's a businessman and a successful one. The problem is: He's a businessman. Like a lot of other politicians. Him pointing out the countries problems does not make him suitable. Obama, Bush and others sounded good but they are all phonies, too? What makes this guy different?

I would want to see their methodology.

In any case, it is reasonable to guess that Trump earns points for his superficial appearance of directness. Other Republicans tend to look the same and, since there are well over a half dozen of them competing for the exact same position, hurt at each other chances.

That would surprise me if it were true. He has said many inflammatory things, and speaks about other ethnic groups like they are types of animals that he likes well enough, but considers beneath him.
"I have a great relationship with the blacks" "I understand the Chinese mind" "...and some some of them, I assume are good people"

As far as Trump supporters that I have met, so far every single one that I have met (on and offline) has pretty much fit the stereotype.

I wouldn't be betting big money that the black, Hispanic, Amerindian, or Asian voters are going to go more for Trump, or any other Republican, versus whomever gets the Democratic nomination.

"Blacks and Hispanics, in fact, even support Trump at a higher level than whites."

Thoughts? Perhaps the stereotype of the Trump supporter is a bit off?

It wouldn't surprise me. The Democratic party has taken the black vote for granted. Nothing has improved in the black community and all the democrats can do is promise more "free $hit".

The have peddled all the freebies they can and the only thing left is jobs and reparations...and that aint going to happen. The biggest thing keeping wages suppressed is the surplus of unskilled labor, illegal aliens, which is the biggest hurdle with black employment and income. Democrats, in the land of unicorns and rainbows, think they can promise it all to everyone. But the bottom line is giving amnesty would hurt the black community the greatest. I think they are aware of this and many other facets and I would expect a higher proportion of blacks voting republican this time around.

The above is such a pathetic distortion of reality I don't even know where to start.

It is a falsehood to suggest that there hasn't been improvement in the black community over the last several decades, and I do believe that the black community well knows why and how this happened.

It is a falsehood to suggest that the Dems haven't tried to set policies that could lead towards more minority jobs.

It's a falsehood to suggest all the Dems do is to promise "free $hit".

It's a distortion of reality to suggest that the Dems promise everything as if the Pubs don't.

It's bizarre that you would suggest that the blacks are more likely to vote for the Pubs, whom have continued to try and suppress the minority vote and backed programs that help the well-heeled but no one else. What's happened with both the lower and middle income families here is that they have lost ground since the mid-1970's, while at the same time "the rich keep getting richer".

The implication of what you say above is essentially that black people are so stupid and can't see how little the Dems have helped them and how much the Pubs have helped them. I do not believe that most black people are anywhere near that naive or naive at all.
