Most Shaved....

I'm just curious - which member has received the most negative frubals over the course of their membership on this site?

I thought of this, because I just got shaved for the umpteenth time - and once again, rightfully so.

Mind you, I'm not complaining - and I don't want to hear any whining from anyone posting a response. The truth is, if you get negative frubals, you almost certainly deserved them (myself included).

I realize that we currently have a member or two that are in the negative frubal range, but I'm talking about total negative frubals. I have to be close to the top in that category - maybe Rex Admin can figure out a way to show us how many we have each received over time! :)

I'll put my total up against anyone.

Any takers?

I have been "bad-fruballed" once. Now that I think of it, that member was right to do so. Cheers.

Hehee, when I saw this post, I thought of the David Sedaris essay "Jesus Shaves."

Hmm... I wonder if you guys who have, on the majority, made insightful posts, are gonna stack up to some others that we've got currently wandering around.

TVOR,
I cannot think of what you could possibly say or do to somebody to get negative Frubals. I have never read a post from you that I could shake my head at. Am I missing something here? You also posted something to the effect about warnings and how many you have received. Do you still have these examples? I want to read these posts because what some RF people had written was that they were quite memorable. Can you imagine having to be the Moderator at the time when you had to reprimand TVOR? It's like being a cop and having to pull your own father over for speeding.

I have to confess..I was a bit concerned about what this thread was going to be about before I clicked in it.

Hey, I'll admit - my mind went totally to the gutter when I read the thread title. I was all set to go for the crown too... :woohoo:

Carrdero - when I get de-frubaled, it is usually very well warranted. As a result, I've actually had several posts deleted by the moderators. So, if you don't happen to read them when they are "freshly posted", they tend to have a very short shelf life. :) That is probably why you have missed them.

So far, when they get pulled from the site, it is almost invariably because I have crossed that line by giving my comments a more "personalized" tone, if you know what I mean. I lack the ability that Deut has raised to an art form - that is - biting sarcasm without actually demeaning the target. When I get to my frustration level, I just can't quite seem to pull the punch in time. :(

As for the moderators having to overcome any particular feelings when de-frubaling me, they seem to have conquered that mountain (very well, I might add). :)

Thanks for the kind words,
TVOR

Ah, but those few times I've been priviliged enought to 'arrive in time' for such a post, they have been justified and I was cheering you on. Of course, I was also usually flaming mad at the other person, too...

I've gotten a few blue frubals but none with with a red box. I would entertain the idea, as a test, that the next poster should give me some so I can join the rest of you!

I've never given anyone negative frubals before pah, and I'm not about to start now!

You'll just have to find someone else to do your dirty business for you. :)

My thanks to some other kind soul.

Can I be in the "club" now?

Bob
Welcome to the club, Rusty!! :)

PS - Bob, I have asked this question before, but I haven't gotten an answer - what do the blue box frubals indicate?

blue box frubals

i believe these are neutral.i think only new members can do this until they meet w/e req.s for positive frubals(like 50 posts or 1month membership ect.).

at least this is how it is on another board i go to.

...and btw, i think only supporters can take away frubals...

hey 1k.

The only person to "shave" my frubals had very good reason to and I hope he/she has read and accepted my apolgies. We will not have any more of that sort of behaviour from me.
