I need some movies based on freindship for a movie review in English. I have only thought of the Shawshank Redemption. That is not the most freind orientated movie out... So, some suggestions please?

Kamikazi Girls.
It won my 2008 Award for "best movie of the year" and is a fine example of a friendship movie.

I gather you've got your movie but had to throw this one out there: The Wackness' with Ben Kingsley. He plays a stoner psychiatrist in a dying marriage who befriends a socially isolated pot dealing teenager as they trade psychotherapy for drugs. It obviously gets complicated, but is such a sweet sweet portrait of friendship across all barriers.

Some great ones have already been mentioned, like Harold and Maude (best pick imo, awesome, fantastic! ), and Stand By Me.
