Feb. 6, 2015 Jupiter Ascending. Channing Tatum brings the meaning of "woof!" and "ahooooo!" to whole new level. :yum: And I thought he had cute ears before!

Here's mine:

- The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water (mainly for the fact that it was filmed in Savannah and I want to see which places I recognize...also the stupid humor).
- Chappie
- Avengers: Age of Ultron
- Insidious: Chapter 3
- Jurassic World
- Ted 2
- Poltergeist

- Sinister 2
- The Peanuts Movie
- Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Blair Witch Project effectively killed my interest in what is new in the movie world. There is the odd gem here and there, but with so much unmitigated garbage around, they are getting harder to find.

Terminator Genisys (Bale's crappy John Connor pretty much ruined Terminator Salvation for me, and Sam Worthington and Moon Bloodgood (I love her name!) were the best things about that movie. So I'm very excited over the return of my man, Arnold, and Jai Courtney is just mmm.)
Jupiter Ascending (I've been waiting for this since it was announced! The Wachowskis, Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis and Sean Bean? Mmm, yes, please!)
Jurassic World
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Chappie
(Die Antwoord, seriously? Lol.)
Furious 7 (Paul Walker <3 :( )
Maybe San Andreas

I can't believe they're making a remake of Poltergeist. Wtf, Hollywood?! Leave the classics alone!

That movie was a terrible disappointment.

What I find frustrating is how terribly unoriginal the vast majority of it is. How many sequels, remakes and reimaginings are coming out this year? Much more than anything new.

TV is much better right now.

I don't watch TV (save for Netflix) and rarely see movie trailers online...you guys are a life-saver :)

Definitely making notes with dates for Avengers, Star Wars, and the "scary" movies.

All I see being mentioned above are kiddee-type movies, so why don't you guys grow up and maybe see adult movies like "The Theory of Everything" or ""The Imitation Game"? :p

Do any of those movies have Chris Hemsworth, Channing Tatum or Chris Evans in them?

No?

Allow me to introduce myself, Peter Pan at your service.

I definitely plan to watch both eventually, along with some others (Boyhood, for example). I watched Foxcatcher a couple of weeks ago, and it was pretty good.

But I also appreciate good speculative films. Interstellar, for example, or recently one that I watched about parallel universes, Coherence. And unfortunately Hollywood is either not motivated to make many of those or it does them poorly (i..e., Transcendence or the marginally better The Signal).

I even like some of the blockbuster fare, but it has been really bad for a while now. The last one that I actually enjoyed, even though I had to overlook a number of problems, was Prometheus and, if you can count it, Cabin in the Woods.

Channing Tatum is in Foxcatcher. Probably the best performance I've seen from him. You'd appreciate it; it is about wrestling.

The second one sounds interesting. Just because a movie is sci-fi or superheroes or action doesn't mean it's "stupid", though. Intelligent people are able to notice deep themes in just about anything.

I was just joking around, thus the :p.

However, there's a lot of movies I call "no-brainers", but which I also like at times just to loosen up a bit.
