The murder of Kim Wall refers to a Danish murder case which is also known in Denmark as Ubådssagen (lit. "The submarine case").[2] Early in the morning of 11 August 2017, Swedish freelance journalist Kim Wall was reported missing from Copenhagen. The previous day, she had boarded the midget submarine UC3 Nautilus at the invitation of its owner, entrepreneur Peter Madsen, in hopes of interviewing him. The submarine put out a distress call and sank on the morning of 11 August. Madsen was rescued and initially claimed to have let Wall off the boat prior to the sinking. Between 21 August and 29 November, Wall's dismembered body parts were found in different locations around the area. Madsen was charged with her murder, and was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment on 25 April 2018 by Copenhagen City Court[3] following a widely publicised trial


Kim Isabel Fredrika Wall (23 March 1987 – 10 or 11 August 2017) was a Swedish freelance journalist. She was born in Trelleborg, Scania,[8] to Ingrid and Joachim Wall, and had a younger brother, Tom.[9][10] After graduating from high school in Malmö, she received a bachelor's degree in international relations at the London School of Economics and a dual master's degree in journalism and international relations at Columbia University in New York City.[8][11][12] She wrote reports about a variety of topics for publications such as The Guardian, The New York Times, Vice, Slate, and Time.[8]In March 2016, German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung awarded her the Hansel Mieth Prize for Best Digital Reportage for "Exodus", a multi-media report on climate change and nuclear weapons testing in the Marshall Islands.[8][13] At the time of her death, Wall lived with her Danish boyfriend Ole Stobbe in Refshaleøen, Copenhagen.

A mass shooting occurred at Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport in Broward County, Florida, United States, on January 6, 2017, near the baggage claim in Terminal 2. Five people were killed while six others were injured in the shooting. About 36 people sustained injuries in the ensuing panic. Esteban Santiago-Ruiz, who committed the shooting, was taken into custody within 90 seconds after he started shooting, surrendering to responding sheriff's deputies. He was later diagnosed with schizophrenia and pleaded guilty.

Santiago visited the FBI field office in Anchorage in November 2016 and reported that the U.S. government was controlling his mind and making him watch online videos by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant,[37] and that he was being forced to join that group by the CIA.[38] He stated that he was hearing voices in his head telling him to commit acts of violence, but he also said that he was in control and did not intend to hurt anyone.[5][6][39] The FBI urged the man to seek mental health treatment[6] and notified the local police who detained him and took him to a medical facility for a mental health evaluation.[5][40] He was later investigated by the FBI, which discovered no links to terrorism or any violation of laws occurring during the Alaska incident.

The Deanna Laney murders were those, by Deanna Laney, of her two oldest sons, 8-year-old Joshua and 6-year-old Luke, by stoning. In a 2004 trial, she was found not guilty by reason of insanity.

Laney woke up one night in May 2003 and took Joshua to the yard of her home in New Chapel Hill, Texas where she lifted a huge rock over her head and brought it down with all her strength against his skull, killing him. She did the same to Luke. Later on, she tried to kill her youngest son, 14-month-old Aaron, in the same way. He survived, but suffered severe head injuries.[1]

During the investigation, Laney claimed God ordered her to bash in her sons' heads. She was a member of an Assemblies of God church, where she sang in the choir.[2] A year earlier, she had told her fellow churchgoers that the world was coming to an end and that God had told her to get her house in order. Later on, she told a psychiatrist that she hoped she and Andrea Yates would end up working together as God's only witnesses at the end of the world.[1]

Five mental health experts were consulted in Laney's case: two each by the prosecution and defense, and one by the judge. All of them arrived at the conclusion that she suffered from psychotic delusions which made her unable to know right from wrong at the time of the killings.[3] A Smith County court found her not guilty by reason of insanity. She was committed to Kerrville State Hospital for eight years until her release in May 2012. However, she is subject to a list of conditions, including that she have no unsupervised contact with minors and submit to regular drug tests to ensure that she takes required medication.

Andrea Pia Yates (née Kennedy; born July 2, 1964) is a former resident of Houston, Texas, who confessed to drowning her five children in their bathtub on June 20, 2001.[1] She had been suffering for some time with very severe postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis. She was represented by Houston criminal defense attorney George Parnham. Chuck Rosenthal, the district attorney in Harris County, asked for the death penalty in her 2002 trial. Her case placed the M'Naghten Rules, along with the Irresistible Impulse Test, a legal test for sanity, under close public scrutiny in the United States. She was convicted of capital murder. After the guilty verdict, but before sentencing, the State abandoned its request for the death penalty in light of false testimony by one of its expert psychiatric witnesses. She was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 40 years. The verdict was overturned on appeal.[2]

On July 26, 2006, the Texas jury in her retrial found that Yates was not guilty by reason of insanity. She was consequently committed by the court to the North Texas State Hospital, Vernon Campus,[3] a high-security mental health facility in Vernon, where she received medical treatment and was a roommate of Dena Schlosser, another woman who committed infanticide by killing her infant daughter. In January 2007, she was moved to a low security state mental hospital in Kerrville,[4] Kerrville State Hospital.

She graduated from Milby High School in 1982. She was the class valedictorian, captain of the swim team, and an officer in the National Honor Society.[7]

Yates completed a two-year pre-nursing program at the University of Houston and graduated from the University of Texas School of Nursing. From 1986 until 1994 she worked as a registered nurse at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Television has incredible power. In a society where money signifies success and influence, television has taken its place among the most prosperous of businesses. Television cannot be attacked because it can and has successfully stood up to all sorts of challenges. The solution of changing its role in society lies within man himself. Television, despite many negative aspects, has much to offer. It is a great tool for learning, communication and for information. Attacking television may deprive us of such benefits therefore this trend must be approached with “more conversation and less combat”(Clinton, p.173). Instead of criticizing, we should look for alternatives that, in the long run, will benefit society. Just as televisions’ bad influence has settled in slowly in our community, it can slowly be filtered out with time, patience and most importantly with everyone’s cooperation.

What is replacing television? Laptops?


As television are the 'social' norms and wrongs a young person might see, it is evident that these 'role' models on television could promote certain 'values' in the youngs' minds.

And don't forget about the 'commercials'. They have great influneces also. More about the 'public' lifestyles more than the work or private or home lifestyles the t.v shows are more about.

Would it be nice if there was a Community where the places which are supposed to be respectable could show with their words, first, that they know and understand what those Truths of respectabilities are?

In other words, a place where the instruction coming forth to be accepted as Truth are not 'false'.

Why? Why would it make a difference if the words are 'false' or 'not false'?
Would you be able to separate the 'false' words from the 'true' words if you were in a group of listeners to a speaker of any sort?


Proverbs 17:4 "A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue."


Would you be able to make the distinction between the 'false lips' and 'naughty tongues' to 'truthful lips' and 'non naughty tongues'?

If not, then how would you know what is false and what is naughty?


What is a 'false' thing that has been accepted as 'Truth' to be heeded?
