Musicals!

The cake is a lie
Are there songs from any particular musical you've been really stuck on lately? For a while I was really into RENT songs, but now I'm completely and utterly fixated on Wicked music. :)

No One Mourns the Wicked, Dancing Through Life, Defying Gravity, No Good Deed, and For Good in particular are my favorites.

I've got Wicked sitting on my MP3 player right now. I might just have to switch over to it :)

It's practically all I've listened to the last couple of weeks though. The one Elphaba sings with Fiyero is one of my favorites, although Defying Gravity is an awesome song.

Hahah, I got the soundtrack this weekend and it's also pretty much all I've been listening to... and the songs have been stuck in my head in class, and when I'm not listening to it... :biglaugh:

We went and saw it about a month ago. Definately worthwhile.

Oooh, where do I start? :D

I find myself from time to time going back to Rent (the ORIGINAL Broadway recording, since I found the movie so absolutely dreadful) and going back and forth on the CD from "La Vie Boheme" to "I'll Cover You" (Tom Collins' at Angel's funeral).

Recently it's been the off-Broadway show A....My Name Will Always Be Alice, but that's mostly because I'm in a production of the show and I'm merely making all the songs habitual in my everyday speech. :) My favorites from Alice are "The French Song" and "Lifelines."

Not too long ago, I was TOTALLY hooked on "What I Did for Love" from A Chorus Line. But again, I was in that show, too...........

*Heather puts in her own CD of Wicked*

I've taken to "The Wizard and I", "Popular", "Defying Gravity", and "No Good Deed" at the moment, but it's hard to not like anything in this show.

Peace,
Mystic
