The men who go to paradisein Islam, God gives them a number of nymphs each day
But the Quran is silent on women and don't speak them
Do women have, as have menofnymp hsnotes
Or is it that Muslim women in Islamic paradise enjoying the views of men who have sex with nymphs
Just the question and answer are required for granted

The translation I read said over and over again that the women in paradise would "only have eyes for their husband". In other words, the men get a harem, the women get to be one of many in a harem.

This is just one reason why Islam is often called misogynistic, a label that seems appropriate and that seems to play out over and over again in the real world.

Every source I've read for example The American Muslim (TAM) shows that the OP is wrong.

All I can say is that I read the book. TAM might well "interpret" things differently, and cherry-pick, but there are many verses in the Quran that says exactly what I said. BTW, the TAM article goes on and on about the number "72" which, for this thread at least, does not apply. Nobody mentioned 72 in this thread.

To be more specific, not only does the Quran mention an abundance of maidens many times, it describes them in ways that would make normal adolescent boys be... well... shall we say, "encouraged". It is objectification in the most obvious sense.

And further, BTW, the Quran I read is the one that's been reprinted 260 million times in English. You might find more PC versions, but it's worth understanding the most popular version.

During the prophet Mohammad's ascension to heaven he does not see any Muslims martyrs or virgins in heaven and he searched all 7 heavens. Could it be he didn't recognize any because the martyrs were so badly blown up in pieces?

There are 100000000000000000000 things in Paradise for both men and women. why do you leave them all and talk about this! anyway, a women would have a husband in Paradise when it comes to sex.

Muslim women are better off on earth than in paradise. Here it is 4 wives to every Muslim male. In paradise it is 72 virgins to every Muslim male martyr. Most muslim men are martyring themselves rather than waiting to die of old age with their wives.

Islams Women - Women of Paradise

Surah 3:195
So their Lord accepted their prayer: That I will not waste the work of a worker among you, whether male or female...

Surah 4:194
And whoever does good deeds whether male or female and he (or she) is a believer -- these shall enter the garden, and they shall not be dealt with a jot unjustly.

Surah 16:97
Whoever does good whether male or female and he is a believer, We will most certainly make him live a happy life, and We will most certainly give them their reward for the best of what they did.

Surah 33:35
Surely the men who submit and the women who submit, and the believing men and the believing women, and the obeying men and the obeying women, and the truthful men and the truthful women, and the patient men and the patient women and the humble men and the humble women, and the almsgiving men and the almsgiving women, and the fasting men and the fasting women, and the men who guard their private parts and the women who guard, and the men who remember Allah much and the women who remember -- Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a mighty reward.

Surah 36:56
They and their wives shall be in shades, reclining on raised couches

Surah 39:34
They will have with their Lord whatever they desire; that is the reward of those who good.

Surah 43:70
Enter the garden, you and your wives; you shall be made happy.

Hi Sunrise,

The phrases I remember reading (several times) are along the lines of:

- Men, when you enter paradise, your wives will only have eyes for you - they won't look at other men.
- Men, the women in paradise will be lovely and have widely-set eyes.*

There is very clearly the idea that each man will have many wives and that a wife will only have her husband.

*This is known medically as "neoteny" which tends to make older people look younger.

A couple of points - yes it's true that typical statements about heaven to Muslims continues polygamy. Personally I find that inconsistent with the statements in the Quran about women being fully satisfied in heaven. The Muslim women I know would not be happy if their husbands had multiple wives on earth or in Heaven.

Scriptures are often inconsistent. If you want to object to parts of Islam, the inconsistencies and multiple interpretations are there as is the case with other religions.

About widely set eyes. That point interested me and I looked around. There are medical conditions that can cause that apparently. But it's also considered attractive so I take that more as an indication of beauty than neoteny.
