I want Khilafah back
When this Sahabi radiallhu anhu became Khalif, he ascended the pulpit, stated only the words below and descended from the pulpit:

"You are in need of a man of action and not a man of words"

Which Khalif made that speech?

Is he sayyidna Abu Bakr As-siddiq radiya lahu 'anh?

Would you say something more specific about this khalifa so as to make it easy for us?
I'm curious to know who said this!

i will give a little hint and maybe it will be easier insha Allah.

i can't think of any information about him radiallahu anhu without making it quite obvious but here goes anyway:

the Khalif before him was assassinated. Umar bin Al Khattab was the first Khalif to be assassinated and Uthman bin Affan was the second. so that leaves 2 people, it wasn't Abu Bakr As Siddiq nor was it Umar bin Al Khattab, either Uthman bin Affan who succeeded Umar bin Al Khattab made that speech or Ali bin Abu Talib who succeeded Uthman bin Affan made that speech.

May Allah be pleased with them all and grant them Al Firdaus. Amin

i hope that information makes sense insha Allah.

i'm beginning to think that the information above may not be sufficient so i will give some more specific information:

in a Hadith the Messenger salallahu alayhi wa salam has stated that his sons will be the leaders of the youth of paradise.

Was it the Khalifa Ali? :)

yes it has him radiallahu anhu. :)

look at him back then and look at the leaders now, they spend so much time making empty speeches that go for hours and there is no action, however, Ali radiallahu anhu said so little and did so much, a well deserved position. may Allah make us like the people of Ali and grant us a leader like him.

your turn to make a question brother.

Great! I think I have a good one, it always moves me very much.

This person is Abyssinian though no one knows her lineage or historical roots. She was sold as a slave in Mecca and was the first to hold the Prophet in her arms. She also was the person to dig Aminah's, the Prophets mother, grave. The Prophet would often refer to her as "my mother" and would later say if any of you wish to marry a woman of Paradise let him marry her.

i have no idea about this question, i have read the Sirah of Rasulallah salallahu alayhi wa salam many times but this doesn't ring any bells. the only name i can think of is Halima, however i don't think that is the answer.

do you know any other hadith about this woman you can post? i'd love to read some more about her once the question is answered.

Halima is a very close answer here are some more hints, I added lines where her name appears

She [Aminah] whispered in my ear: 'O ______, I shall
depart from this world shortly. I commend my son Muhammad to
your care. He lost his father while he was in my abdomen. Here
he is now, losing his mother under his very eyes. Be a mother to
him, _____. And don't ever leave him.'

The Prophet told Khadija "This is Barakah. This is my mother after my own mother.
She is the rest of my family."

She also married a man who had once been a slave as well as being the adopted son of the Prophet.

She is Mabrouka or Barakah.

Good job sister! She was also called Umm Ayman because her first child was Ayman. She is exceptional that she lived with the Prophet from his birth to death, she died during the reign of the Caliph Uthman.

Your turn :)

i don't know if you accept two answers but i think either it was Amr ibn Al As' or ibn Mas'ood. i don't know why i think ibn Mas'ood, for some reason he comes up as the first ambassador or maybe he was the the first governor.

He was chosen by the Prophet peace be upon him for a noble mission, the mission of going to Yathrib "Madinah", before the emigration (Al Hijrah), in order to invite people to Islam and teach them about the new religion and thus paving the way to the emigration of the Prophet and his companions.

oh my bad, my answer was for the period after the death of Rasulallah salallahu alayhi wa salam, during the reign of Khalifa Abu Bakr radiallahu anhu, because Amr bin Al 'As was not a muslim when the Prophet lived in Makkah and even for most of the Madinah Period of his life.

based on what you have said, i do know about the event, however i don't remember the name of the Sahabi who was sent to Madinah at the time.

as far as i know, the sahabi was sent there with the Ansar who met Rasulallah on the second year that the Ansar came to meet the Messenger during Hajj season.
