Muslims condemn the Paris Attacks

oldbadger

Skanky Old Mongrel!
Wow! You have my attention! However it's the internet and anyone can be anything to everyone.
Such a bold claim.
I'd never be insulting & say I was better than anyone.
You've not walked in my shoes in my world.
I know nothing about your world.
However it's now proven these 3 terroists were Al Qu'aeda (sp?) trained in Yemin
with an agenda, it was a well planned attack with a support group, help from ISIS,
an exit plan that went awry, now trapped, surrounded by French pissed off police, gunman say they want to die as martyrs.
It's be a shame if snipers took their legs off and they went to a French prison legless in a wheelchair.
At least he news is calling this a religiously motivated act of mass murder tp
promote islam via fear. Part of the game plan by extremists.
They want the world to be afraid of islamics everywhere. No matter how "mild" & "moderate" other islamics claim to be the idea is to make people everywhere to be afraid of all islamics all over the globe. Fear is the goal used to promote islam by the extremists.
Perhaps the extremists feel that if fear motivates it might motivate infidels to become violent towards the moderate muslims and involve the world in a war with islam to martyr many innocent muslims.
Saw a video clip of an extremist islamic group shouting, jumping up and down yelling
"down with America" when someones suicide belt detonated killing many of the partiers.
Such a shameful waste of life.

Another rant!
TLDR.
NB...... I notice that you cannot spell Christian.
You might like to correct that?

I am sad that your religion was insulted so......
However, 6 million Muslims in France did nothing against the cartoonists who attacked their religion.
Only three Muslim criminals responded so....
We must hold on to that....

It does not take an Inspector Clousea to surmise these 3 had automatic AK weapons in France with very strict gun control laws. The weapons were smuggled in.
The 3 made, executed a well planned successful attack with an exit stratedgy
that went awry. It don't take a policeman to understand they were well trained, the attack was smooth and professional.
Now we know they are al q'eada trained in Yemen. The DO have a support group, which anyone should have guessed, now another shooter is out and about in addition to the two that are surrounded.
No one need have detective experience to simply surmise what had happened.
Now another islamic gunman is hold up trapped in a grocery store where he has 5 hostages he can kill at will.
Is France at war with ilslamic extremism. Sure looks like a war is in the making and the islamics started it & it was predictable.
I suspect the mosques that were burned in Sweeden were burned by islamics to foster the religious war worldwide.
If I were a muslim living in a western country I think I'd be very careful where I went.
If I were a muslim in a muslim country I'd not leave the house for fear of being killed by an islamic gunman.
No one I know wants to see muslims under attack or killed or descriminated in anyway.
Religous freedom is a founding ideal in America and should never be dismissed as a basic right for all Americans, no matter the religion especailly the Religion of Peace.
Watch gun and ammo sale rise in the U.S. again.
I once sold a handgun to a doctor who was Sihk, and a darned good doctor and friend.
He was very afraid of being targeted by a muslim extremist as muslims don't care one bit for the Sihk and the reverse holds true.
The doc was afraid he'd be mistaken for a muslim by a trigger happy American thinking a Sikh was a muslim as they also wear turbins.

Aw, com'on. Not another spellchecker poster.
Anyone can get tired and fingers hit wrong keys, especially with busted arthritic
fingers and hands.
If I noted to every poster that missed keys and misspelled words it would be a full time job. But I have a life that does not include trying to slam others on the internet.
I didn't know you we assigned the job of spell checker, I thought you only come here to brag and boast.

.....brag and boast? Speak for yourself.
Spell checker? Your title is incorrect...... it might save you from further embarrassment if you would correct it?

I heard an interesting interview today on CBC (one of our Canadian TV stations). The reporter was interviewing Sikander Hashmi, an Imam from Ottawa. He was quick to say that they (his church) does not condone the killing of innocent people. That would have been great if he had stopped there.

However, he went on to say that he is first a Canadian and that he and his followers know that they must follow the laws of the country. However, he wants our government to create a new law limiting freedom of speech! So what I take away from that is that he wants to have Canadian laws changed to accommodate his religious beliefs. Doesn't sound much like he really is a true Canadian to me.

I recognize that it must be hard for others who come to the Western world and have to adapt to Western ways. However, Canada is probably the most multi-cultural country in the world and even here immigrants want us to change to accommodate them. I don't believe that we should be doing this. If people want to immigrate then they need to be prepared to live by the laws and rules of the country they move to.

And can you just imagine if a Westerner moved to a Muslim country and started asking to have the laws there changed to accommodate us? Don't think that would ever happen! And it shouldn't. I think the old saying, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do" should apply to anyone moving to another country.

I don't believe that people coming here should have to give up their religion or even their language or their traditions and customs. I just think they need to find a way to adapt those things to our laws and society. And I believe they need to learn to speak either English or French (we have two official languages). We had a Portuguese neighbor once and she had been in Canada for over 20 years and the only English words she spoke were thank you and snow! I think that isolates a person and it shouldn't be allowed as those who don't learn the language of their new country can't communicate well with others.

Anyway, back to the Imam. It's pretty obvious that he's fooling himself thinking he's become a Canadian. I think he needs to accept our ways and laws and customs to truly integrate into our society. And he certainly should not be asking to have our laws changed to accommodate him and his beliefs.

I really wish you could understand this interesting debate between Tariq Ramadan and the comics creator in question.
Ramadan says that his humor in the comics is cowardice:
wow....

He was a French and European citizen. You could not "Ban " him.
non citizens are comparatively easy to deal with.
OK, I stand corrected. I didn't know he was a French citizen. There is no easy answer to this menace of Islamic based terrorism.
