The third International Conference of Muslim Television Ahmadiyya International (MTA) concluded on 13 April 2014 with an address by the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat and Fifth Khalifa, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad.
39 delegates from 20 countries attended the three-day conference which was held at the Baitul Futuh Mosque in South-West London.
During the course of the event the delegates attended a variety of workshops and presentations organised by MTA International. The delegates were also able to take part in one-to-one sessions with representatives of different departments of MTA International.

Speaking about the type of programmes that MTA should produce, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said:
“Remember, any programmes you produce should be of the highest standards and should be those that fulfil the needs of the time… On the one hand, we should create programmes that are a means of Tarbiyyat (moral training) for all people – whether young or old, man or woman, adult or child……… we should make programmes that are a means of preaching the truth of Islam and that remove all doubts and suspicions which can arise in the minds of young people in particular. Thus programmes which answer questions related to modern-day society and contemporary issues should be produced on a regular basis by MTA….……In this era the Promised Messiah was sent to establish and revive the true teachings of the Holy Quran and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and so in this great effort and in this great mission you are having the opportunity to help and assist………………………Indeed, if you are able to serve in any capacity and are linked to MTA in any shape or form then you are truly blessed. And the reason you are so lucky is that you are working towards spreading the truth. You are bringing spiritual light into the homes of people across the world.”
