My new baby!

So, I just wanted to share a picture of my new baby with all of you out there in RF land:

AdonisandSimplePlan007.jpg

He's a purebred English Mastiff and his name is Adonis. I bought him at the end of November. He's about 9 weeks old in this picture and has (since the pic was taken) doubled in size.

He was a Christmas present to myself, (and quite an extravagant one, considering what I paid for him :D).

I want one! He really is lovely;I love most pets, but I guess dogs are near the top of the list. You'll never be wanting for a friend.:bounce

The way he is looking at it, he is wondering if the camera is edible.
I hope you have a large house.
Or soon he will seem to fill it.

Thank you everyone! :D And sure, Sunstone, I'll ship him out to you on the next plane :p

Beautiful! Getting a 2nd job to feed it? :D
haha! You mean a third job!

And yeah, I'll probably have to considering he'll grow to be anywhere between 200-250lbs and 32-36 inches at the shoulder!

I'll definitely never be wanting for a friend, Michel, considering Adonis is the seventh animal friend to inhabit my home, along with my 5 cats, Isis, Osiris, Fudge, Jack and Sally and my other dog (a collie/samoyed mix), Anubis.

And Terry, my house seems big now, but who knows how big it will seem with a 250lbs dog bounding around it :D

I sure do like my animals. Personally, I'd rather be surrounded by animal friends than human ones, haha.

I had never seen mastiffs up close until I met my neighbor's dogs. They have two full-grown mastiffs. I suddenly wondered, upon meeting these horse-size dogs, what it was that used to intimidate me with the puny Rotty I used to live with.

Wow! A dog uglier than mine! ;) He looks really neat. You're going to have to post another picture of him once he gets bigger, too.

AWWWwwwww

Look at his sad little eyes! All cute and frightened of the flashing camera :D

He's gonna be a big fella though! Hope you got a few sheep or a deer to feed him.
