I have constantly searched for a religion that I can identify with, because it seems most people around me have a religion, whether it has a god or not. I personally don't believe in a god, and would have liked to become a part of an athiestic religion. Frankly, I couldn't find one to suit my personal beliefs.

Now I am creating a religion called Moralism. It is based on the principles of staying on the morally right path as a person, and to find yourself and what it it means to be you personally. There is no god or deity, and focuses much like Buddhism on meditation for "soul" searching. It will range on topics from health to relationships, and even crossing over to another religion. I am in the midst of writing a book on these principles that will be available as an E-book in the future. I don't want to waste peoples time for them to travel to a church, I don't them giving hard earned money to me or anyone else. I don't want to restrict them from eating certain food or doing certain things. This religion is about self exploration.

The symbol I will be using is the astronomical Earth symbol. This signifies that when you finally find yourself as a person, and proceed to live a life by high moral standards and self awareness, that you will be as strong as the earth that we all walk on.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
If your developing a new religion, study Copism's orginators to help navigate the pitfalls and triumphs in the process of getting official recognition.

Good luck in your efforts.

I wager Sees asked in part because the symbol is already widely used in other religions. My own included.
Oh I see. I Looked up the symbol and I didn't come across any connections to other religions. Do those religions including yours use the symbol as the main symbolism of their respective religions?

It is widely used as a solar symbol in Indo-European and Native American religions, a Medicine Wheel in some Native American religions, and also as the beginning basis of the mandala--the inner map of the subjective mind.
