Hello everyone,
Thank you for the replies while I was offline. I really appreciate the interest and the support.
I decided to post this thread a couple of minutes after I got out of my car in the hotel parking lot. I was standing not far from my car when the idea to share the results of my investigation on RF came to my mind. So, I quickly typed the OP on my Samsung and posted it in haste before I went into the hotel. I've never typed so fast in my life, and I'm shocked that the sentences in my OP are actually coherent. My hands were shaking as I typed my OP, and I didn't even read what I wrote before I posted the thread. In fact, I was trembling with anticipation before I even got out of my car, and my heart started pounding the moment I saw The Crescent come into view as I turned the corner a block away. I could barely contain my enthusiasm about being back at the hotel.
I hit the road running the very second after I hastily pressed 'Create Thread,' and I kept up this momentum for 3 /12 hours. I walked up the front stairs in full paranormal investigator mode. I was in my element, and I came prepared for the task ahead with my SLS camera, an EVP recorder and Spirit Box in hand. I chose these particular pieces of equipment because I didn't want to carry a lot of weight around with me while investigating. I started my investigation before I walked into the hotel. I stood outside and snapped several pictures of the front of the hotel. After I had finished, I went inside and immediately began to investigate the lobby.
The staff wasn't even phased when they saw me walk in with an SLS camera and EVP recorder in hand. It was just business as usual because they work in a haunted hotel. I investigated the lobby, worked my way down to the lower level to investigate, and then I went walked up the stairs to the first floor. I did as much investigating as I was able to, since I had limited access. I wasn't an overnight guest, so I couldn't go into a room to investigate. I was allowed to go into one of the vacated rooms before housekeeping got to it the last time I was at the hotel, but I didn't manage getting access to a vacated room this time. I investigated all four floors as much as I was allowed, including the restaurant and its balcony on the fourth floor. I walked down the hallway of each floor and asked questions with the Spirit Box and the EVP recorder. I also snapped multiple pictures of the hallway and the mirrors. After I had finished investigating as much of the inside as I had access to, I went outside and began the same process of investigating.
A couple of the staff interrupted me to find out if I had found anything, but other than that, the staff pretty much left me alone. Some guests were curious to know what it was like to conduct a paranormal investigation. They asked me questions about my investigation, and they asked about my equipment. I answered their questions, and I asked if anyone would like to participate. There were a few who did, and there were a few who seemed afraid. A hotel staff member remembered me from the last time I was at the hotel, and we talked for a while. We also conducted an EVP session at his service desk in the middle of the lobby.
So, I recorded multiple EVPs inside and outside the hotel. There were three EVPs that really bothered me, and they were 'poisoned,' 'in pain,' and 'decapitated.' I've never heard EVPs like that before. In addition to the EVPs, I captured a couple of SLS images of a spirit on the fourth floor. I tried to capture other SLS images, but the other spirits didn't seem interested in seen on camera. I also captured some spirits in digital pictures as well. My reflection in the mirror with the face of a disturbing looking spirit being clearly seen standing almost right behind me is one of them. I don't want to share these pictures in a public forum, and I will explain why.
Unfortunately, I made the mistake of sharing a couple of my digital photo evidence (not watermarked) in a paranormal group on Facebook, and some jerk stole my pictures and claimed them as his own. I had to prove to the powers that be on Facebook that these pictures were actually my intellectual property and that this so-and-so stole my pictures. Fortunately for me, Facebook took me at my word and my stolen pictures were deleted from this person's profile and deleted in the paranormal group. Long story short, I've learned my lesson about sharing my digital paranormal pictures on a public forum. Therefore, if you would like to see my pictures, please PM me. However, I must insist that whomever I share my pictures with in a PM must agree not to share my pictures with anyone else without my explicit permission. I don't want to have to deal with another situation like that on Religious Forums.
