what do you think of my signature ? to be more precice, what do you think I am saying - I was talking to someone earlier today, and it seemed like I had been misunderstood - at least by that person.

No holds barred; I want FRANK opinions.....

You want attention, so you make up these signatures and if people dont accept you for that, they can stuff you in a shelf with your family, since you are part of the littles and you all live there happily writing pages onto eachothers books for people to read.

I took it to mean that you were not writing the book of your life for an audience other than yourself; and that only you had editorial control, whether or not your additional audiences approve or not.

I totally pprove of the sentiment, and it matters not whether I approve of the rest.

I think that it means that you are saying you have no hidden agendas and are completely open about who you are. If somebody can't deal with that, then that is fair enough, but you are not forcing them to read you so they should not take offense, they should merely find a book which they can handle.

I love your signature line. I interpreted it to mean "I am who I am, without artifice or masks. If you don't like what you see, feel free to find someone else who meets your expectations."

I think Fluffy, Melody and netDoc got it right.

Melody is probably the nearest "I am who I am, without artifice or masks. If you don't like what you see, feel free to find someone else who meets your expectations.", but I would add 'because I am not going to try be something I am not, just to please you".

Thank you everyone - it does go to show individual interpretations though. I will keep it; I was tempted to try and change it, but now you all know what I mean by it, I feel happier...
