My thief Dad and Xmas

My dad stole all my Xmas presents that I had bought for everyone, and he stole my heater too. It is like freezing outside.

Great Xmas Eve this is.

You live with the man... where'd he put them? And isn't summer starting down south there?

It is summer now, and it's like Africa. Hot days and cold nights.

I even searched for them I think he took them to a neighbours.

Call the police.

Write it up as a human-interest story for your local paper.

Get a local TV station to do a piece on it.

Oh, and -- Call the police.

Why treat a burglery by an insider any differently from a burglery by a stranger?

How do you know he did it? Did he leave a note, saying:

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, THE GRINCH HAS STOLEN CHRISTMAS!!!!!

P.S. THIS IS FROM YOUR FATHER!!!!!

P.P.S. YOUR FATHER IS THE GRINCH!

P.P.P.S. THERE'S A ROAST IN THE OVEN... MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T BURN!!!!

P.P.P.P.S. OH, YEAH, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I'M THE GRINCH!!!!!

:p

Seriously though, threaten to call the police at least.

Quite right, Feathers. I thought my parents were bad, but Soul's father takes the cake in the dysfunction category.

My dad's official diagnosis (although we think this may have just been a 'blanket' one to get him out of Mayo :) ) is Borderline Personality Disorder. It didn't manifest itself in that stealing, blaming behavior, though.

Gosh, Soul....that's awful. He really needs some help. I'll pray you get your gifts back and that your Christmas improves!! :(

Well fans after a small ordeal I got the presents back. He probably realized how wrong he was, because he hardly said much to me all day.
