Nancy Pelosi, the Dalai Lama and the Oracle

Recently a Congressional delegation led by Nancy Pelosi met with the Dalai Lama in India and expressed their support for Tibet and its liberation from communist China.

While there, they also had an audience with the State Oracle of Tibet. Below is a video of the ceremony with the Oracle and his blessings for the delegation. For those unfamiliar with the Tibetan tradition of the Oracle - he is a Lama of high stature who on important occasions goes into a trance and then his body is said to be entered by a discarnate being (of even higher spiritual stature). You can then ask the Oracle questions or advise on the course of future actions or possible occurrences. The Tibetan government (in exile) often makes important decisions based on the answers.

I wonder what the Pope or the Catholic Church would think of this meeting? Any Catholics would like to comment? Any Buddhists/Tibetans who know more about such Oracles, please comment too.

That is interesting, I though U.S. is against such liberation and separatists. In Ukraine parts of it wanted also to be liberated from Ukraine, and it led to this preface to WW3. Imagine if China would do the same for Tibet as what Ukraine did to Eastern Ukraine. I think they all should have freedom to get separated, but it is weird how same people can have that kind of double standards.

This is not correct in the vote by Ukrainians ALL of the provenances voted to leave Russia by a large margin and become an independent Nation..

This is not correct in the vote by Ukrainians ALL of the provenances voted to leave Russia by a large margin and become an independent Nation..

I am not sure what do you mean, when they voted, but I can believe they voted to be independent. Now they are tried to be made non independent by joining in Nato and EU. I don't think they voted for that. But, in any case, I think the best solution to this insane war is that Ukrainian people are allowed to vote, do they want to be part of EU, Nato, Russia, or do they want to be independent. And then all parties should accept the result. It is weird why that is not allowed to happen, although all sides speak like they are for democracy.

The Ukrainian people voted over whelming to be independent of Russia. That is a fact and Democracy. Membership in NATO and the EU does not effect the independence of a country. It a voluntary membership in an defense alliance, and economic union supported by the people of Ukraine,

By what the Ukrainian people have done, there are lot of people who don't want EU and Nato. And it is reasonable, if one wants to be independent. In EU country does what the tyrannical EU rulers decide, and very often it is not good.

Your living in denial of the comparison Western Europe with the oppressive violation of every violation against humanity possible by Putin of Russia and the history of Russia ia appalling. The documented history of Russian behavior in Russia and all over Eastern Europe is well documented, and you live in unbelievable intentional ignorance of reality
