The National Guard and the Army needs to take out those militias by any means necessary. The right wing MAGA evil must be stopped no matter what it takes. They want war and we need to win it. Period. We need to hunt them down and take them out and their supporters as well. (supporters of the terrorist militias)

National Guard’s report of ‘armed militia,’ prompts the relocation of North Carolina hurricane recovery officials

Around 1 p.m. Saturday, an official with the U.S. Forest Service, which is supporting recovery efforts after Hurricane Helene along with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, sent an urgent message to numerous federal agencies warning that “FEMA has advised all federal responders Rutherford County, NC, to stand down and evacuate the county immediately. The message stated that National Guard troops ‘had come across x2 trucks of armed militia saying there were out hunting FEMA.’”

Chimney Rock, in Rutherford County, has become one of the centers of tension and conflict after a rumor spread on social media that government officials planned to seize the decimated village and bulldoze bodies under the rubble. Authorities and news outlets debunked the assertion, but people still took to social media imploring militias to go after FEMA. A person familiar with FEMA operations, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the agency was working out of an abundance of caution and its teams were operating at fixed locations and secure areas instead of the usual practice of going door to door.

What the hell is wrong with MAGA?
They are just fascists, now. They are behaving exactly the way fascists behave. As the systems of society break down either by natural disaster or by their own doing (or both), they see it as being their time to 'seize the moment'. They want to rise up out of the chaos and seize control, because they believe that they should always have been in control. And that the rest of humanity should be obeying their dictates. They are mostly just a bunch of testosterone-addled man-boys that are angry because they're not being worshiped and cow-towed to the way they think they deserve. They are the bully-boys that are always lurking among us, waiting for their chance to abuse the weak so they can wallow in their, "Look at what a big dog I am!" fantasies. And if they are not slapped down hard and fast, they will quickly escalate to rape, robbery, murder, and mayhem. Because they have no internal moral governor, and no common sense.

All this Trump/MAGA idiocy has been allowed to go on way too long. It's the weakness of a society that really does believe in freedom and tries to accommodate everyone's opinions. Lines need to be drawn and overstepping them really needs to be punished. But this requires wisdom, common sense, and courage, and the modern cultures of the world are running in very short supply of this.

William Jacob Parsons, a 44-year-old man who was allegedly spotted armed with an assault rifle, was arrested and charged for making comments about possibly harming Federal Emergency Management Agency workers in North Carolina for Hurricane Helene recovery efforts, the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office confirms. CBS News' Nicole Sganga has more on the allegations.

Ol’ son needs to drop that rifle and pick up a shovel. Make yourself useful, or make yourself scarce. We don’t have time for this.

I read this report this morning and found it quite shocking. Why has that Sheriff done nothing to stop this craziness?

did you bother to read the entire article or just cherry pick the section you needed to your own purposes, whatever those may be

1) No mention of MAGA

2)
The threats were made at a gas station on Route 9 in neighboring Polk County, prompting an attendant there to share concerns with active-duty U.S. soldiers who visited, said Capt. Jamie Keever, a spokesman with the Rutherford County sheriff’s office. The Army reported the incident to law enforcement authorities, who arrested the man Saturday night. Keever said while there have been unconfirmed reports of “truckloads of militia men” in the area, the details in this case do not bear that out. “This was a lone individual,” Keever said. “We’re trying to get the word out about that.”

Things that occur like this are bad enough, butt embellishing them is not getting the word out, it is simply adding to the panic and misinformation

They are an echo of the paramilitary Sturmabteilung Nazi "brown shirts" but as far as I know not operating directly under Trump but affiliated with him.
ahh now I see..politically motivated misinformation about North Carolina.....to suit your agenda

Right now this guy's social media and police footprint are being scoured. We will know soon whether he was MAGA or not.

there was no mention of MAGA in the article, that was an embellishment added by the OP

Considering yesterday that I'd read MAGA were on the rampage hunting FEMA workers I'll stick with my post rather than edit it.

Got it. So you don't care about people planning murder. And you don't care about the fear and suffering they cause for people just trying to do their job of helping people. And you don't care when death threats are made to weather forecasters. And along with that, you don't care when people stir up racist bigotry. It's good to know that's how you feel.
