Nature of God - Christians

It sounds as if you are referring to God as being like Tao. Where everything in the universe is a "being" but is essentially just a part of God which is "Being". So God would be the encompassment of all things and no things, so to speak. Am I understanding you correctly?

That sounds pretty good in the little bit I've pondered it. God is existence. If God were justing a being, I believe that would imply that he is a product of creation. However, God is separate from his creation but at times can also be be a part of it and limiting himself to its laws.

What about these passages from the Bible regarding the idea of God as Being?

John 8:58
58"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"

Exodous 3:14
14 God said to Moses, "I am who I am . This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.' "

I'm not sure whether those passages say "God is being" because I STILL don't know what that's supposed to mean.

How about the meanings given by Master Vigil and Ringer above?
Or what about what runlikethewind has as a sig.- "God does not exist...God is existence."?

Master Vigil merely restated the slogan, and Ringer just said that God is separate from creation. Ringer's statement has the virtue of making sense, but I'm not sure whether that's what you mean by "God is being". Runlikethewin's sig is no further help. Maybe I'm just stupid.

Isn't God the culmination of all life and non existant matter, where from the Being as you might say, was in a position to offer life as man from the wisdom of It's knowledge. Now I do not know how you can single this question out as a Christian catergory, as God that you speak of is the God of many faiths and perhaps they may have some views to explain.

I have no idea what that means.
Seriously, I'm baffled how someone cannot know know what is meant by "Being itself."

Most Christians I've encountered don't give it much thought: they just seem to take for granted that God is both infinite and separate from his creation.
