This Lollard heretic hath published a new book. It's God's Word in English. Yet does his being such mean we should not take advantage of this new work??

For me as a German, this book seems kind of interesting. For example schulden (owe to, pronounced shuul-den) seems to be similar to should.

Yes, Middle and Old English also has 'y' on the front of past tense verbs in some cases, such as ymaked, ybroght etc. similar to the German ge-.

I've just looked him up. Seems he taught at Merton College, Oxford, from where he was eventually chucked out, having initially been protected by the university. Seems the Peasant's Revolt had something to do with the change of heart.

I must be remembering wrong, but I thought he was one od them not just killed as a heretic, but the one they roasted in a ring of fire rather than the normal burning at the stake.
But this is going on nearly 30 years ago and it's not in the Bible so I have probably have problems with getting more than how they died mixed up, lmao.

No, he died normally and was posthumously declared a heretic. Tyndale was put to death.

I learned about those two, Menno Simmons, Calvin, I seen to recall a Miller, something more modern about a boy and his family is Soviet Russia, and there was some book about Daniel (same story as from the Bible but tweaked and adjusted to read like a modern story and regular book).

You aren't missing much. I had to learn about Prot reformers the way Catholics learn about the Saints.
The real moral of those stories is Christians historically don't get a long well with eachother and were a greater threat and danger to themselves and eachother than the Turks. Must be why they call each other brother and sister, lmao.
