I like to exchange thoughts with you, there is also an even newer female member here, namely:

New Woman on RF sargam, Saturday at 1:46 AM ...

So, there are now two new female members here.

I am an old man err veteran here; I was suspended but now I have served my suspension, and am back to writing here, and with the same end as you two new women here, namely, to exchange thoughts with everyone here.

So, let me invite you to talk with me about what is a religion, for this forum is called Religious Forums, wherefore it behooves us to talk about what is a religion.

What so you say about my idea of what is a religion, here as follows below.

“A religion is the worship of a superior being, like with the Christian religion, the superior beings are God and Jesus Christ, with the idea of getting favors from the superior being.”
Does that make sense for you, my idea of what is a religion?

Religion - often confused with tradition.

To me religion is my relationship with God. I do nothing "religiously" other than talk to Him.

Favors? Not quite. Often I find I am being tested, not given favors for actions.

Blessings? Yes. Endless. But not because of my actions - only because He is gracious.

I was raised to believe nothing. Now - because of Him - He is my everything. Yet I am still not worthy of His grace.

So, you mean that when you got tested by God and you successfully got through with His testing, He will reward you with heaven when you go over to the other world post your demise in the present one on earth?

Now, is that not religion according to my concept of religion, namely:

It is the worship of a superior being with expectation of favors from the superior being?

But there is nothing wrong with serving God for His reward.

You don't accept that?

Okay, tell me why you serve God, if at all.

Or you will tell me you don't serve God?

Dear everyone here, let us think together, okay?
