Hello, I'm new here. I'm 36 years old and just learning Heathenism. I've considered myself a Heathen for a long time, mainly because I've felt a connection with the Norse gods. Looking forward to talking to everyone and thanks for having this forum.

What surprises me is the larger interest/following of Odin now, then back when the Norse Gods were followed in Ancient times. Apparently Odin was not very well liked, and had only a small following, due to his unmanly practice of seiðr.

You're correct when using the lowercase "h", just like with the word "pagan."

With an uppercase "H", however, it denotes a specific thing. You're a heathen, but not a Heathen, if you understand my meaning.

I know. English is stupid.
