Well, been here for a day. Didnt do this soo.....here goes.
I joined in July of last year, but i only made my profile. I had never read a post or commented until yesterday. LOL A bit about me.
Im a black american young woman. 23 years old. Was born and raised in a loving christian home where my mom and grandmother took care of me and my siblings. Tragedy plagued me for years though, which made me turn away from what my mother raised me to be. A strong Christian young woman. Never done drugs, never had a drink of alcohol, and never had sex on my own accord. But i did my dirt. Got into a lot of fights, had terrible anger issues, and struggled with suicide. After years of trying to do it on my own, i accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. He became my first love. And i was forever changed.
Well.........after returning back to my God, He sent me the love of my life. He taught me how to love again. And he loved me for who i was. Flaws and all. He was my first and only real boyfriend. Dated for 3years. Been married for 9mo. And it gets sweeter every day. Through it all.
Im a singer(soprano)/songwriter who wishes to do ministry fulltime. Working on my album, as well as a love cd for christian couples. If you ask me what denomination i am apart of, i'll tell you im a follower of Jesus Christ. But i do attend one of the local seventh-day adventist churches here. Im a sabbath keeper, and a bible believer.
Im very goofy and extremely laid back. I love to laugh and crack jokes. Looking forward to making new friends on the interwebs!
