New Member: I'm Lokean!

My name is Gabriel. I'm neither male nor female. I prefer male pronouns though, having no interest in hir, ze, they, variations.

I'm a Lokean. I am fairly new to the path, having tried Wicca, then Egyptian eclecticism, and a few others before I found Him. Or, He called me.

I don't subscribe to the Christianized form of Asatru going around. Loki is not synonymous with the devil. (I've got no problems with Luciferians/Satanists.) Loki's not evil. He's not a liesmith. If anything, He's a truthsmith.

He calls me on things I do. Doesn't take bullcrap. He's wonderful, loving, and tough.

I'm also somewhat of an otherkin. Jotunn/Wolf. Basically like Fenrir, just I'm not up for being honored. I most certainly don't deserve it.

My other Gods in order are: Thor, Sigyn, Hel, and Fenrir.

Hmm. There are many who wouldn't touch a deity like Loki with a ten foot pole. Given some of the gods I work with, it seems we already have something in common.

Just make sure you keep the Asatru stuff low-key here, we don't want to raise any eyebrows higher than they already are. Too much of that might raise our fighting weight all the way to middle brow.

Also, welcome.

Welcome. As a Scandinavian I always think it fascinating that our old beliefs haven't been forgotten. I'm hoping to see you around on the forum. :)
