Creationist technique: make things up.
There's a tendency for people fervently taking
a side to see all those not of their tribe to hold
all the same wrong beliefs. So discussions often
aren't with me....they're with someone else, but
projected upon me.
But as you see, this can be overcome, & with
some effort, common ground can be found.

In his ruling from the bench Wednesday, Urias said, “I don’t blame [the governor] for wanting to take action in the face of terrible acts,” The Associated Press reported, adding that the judge said he was faced with a much more narrow question regarding the rights afforded to citizens. The ruling will remain in effect until at least an Oct. 3 hearing in the case, the AP reported.

Great, then I would like to address the issue by saying I think owning a lot of guns is an indication of a certain mind set. Not in every case, but often I think it indicates a paranoid fearful personality. It is not just the guns, but it is a culture that loves guns and gun violence.
Yes. There's always been a legal history of having some gun regulations, and probably most, or at least many, of them are constitutional. Just because we have the 2nd Amendment doesn't mean that all people can carry any gun they want anywhere they want. For example, imagine if one tried to carry a gun into the SCOTUS chambers.

Anyone who believes the Constitution is irrelevant is 6 beers short.
**** these governors who think they can over-rule the Bill Of Rights by fiat.
But it was DC vs Heller that undermined the constitution, wasn't it? The first clause of the amendment was effectively erased.
Gun regulation does not violate the 2nd amendment.

Yes, guns may be regulated.
I even advocate it.

Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on Friday narrowed an order that broadly suspended the right to carry firearms in and around Albuquerque to apply only to public parks and playgrounds where children and their families gather.

I don't think she can do that. I am fairly postive that it takes legislative action to regulate where firearms can and not be carried beyond what federal laws state.

Resident defends against armed invaders.
Cop's commentary is interesting....he doesn't
appreciate the necessity of self defense.
He seems to barely tolerates it.
