He's lied to congress, he's lied to the V.P., he's broken numerous laws (not the least being an unregistered foreign agent) as well as his oath to, "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and to bear true faith and allegiance to the same ..."

No immunity! No quarter!

If he cooperates, "a good word" on his behalf should be passed to the sentencing Judge. Nothing more.

Thrown under the bus, hell. He dove headfirst. He did say that anyone looking for immunity was guilty ... take him at his word. As I calculate it he's got about 30 years in Federal Prison and a million dollar fine coming. If he cooperates, we should cut that back to 5 years with time served and half a million. He should be arrested immediately and held with out bail on an initial charge of Treason.

There's a reason for giving immunity that isn't as favorable to the accused. Once he has immunity, he can be forced to answer questions about his doings and cannot invoke the 5th amendment. But he can still be charged with perjury if his answers aren't accurate. Sometimes the point to the investigation is to find out what really happened, as opposed to proving someone should go to jail. That's often the case when the judiciary believes that there is a bigger fish to fry.

So far none of the investigatory committees have shown interest in granting him immunity for testifying. Even if one or more does, my guess is that there'll be sharp limitations put on it because I have doubts that they would want to just hand him a "get out of jail free" card.

If I were some high ranking officials, out of anything and everything that could happen, being granted immunity would probably be the worst. Definitely a very nasty situation of "oaths vs. loyalties" I wouldn't want to find myself in. "Too all my friends, I am very sorry, but they are really going to roast my *** if I don't."

Immunity or no immunity, I find it hard to believe that Flynn will serve at best no more than a few months in jail.

He has learned to lie from the best. He won't bring down any more of Trump Tower than he and the Trump administration can prevent.
