We see here so often an assertion from Atheism people that it is not a religion. Isn't one wrong here, please?

What would make you think it is a religion?

According to the IRS, atheism is not a religion.

So the IRS has a set of criteria they apply to any group claiming to be a religion. The primary criteria are listed below with how atheist groups qualify [shown in parenthesis].

  1. Distinct legal existence [Some atheist groups are legal entities.]
  2. Recognized creed and form of worship [No creed or forms of worship.]
  3. Definite and distinct ecclesiastical government [No ecclesiastical governance.]
  4. Formal code of doctrine and discipline [No doctrine.]
  5. Distinct religious history [No religious history.]
  6. Membership not associated with any other church or denomination [Atheists may join any number of atheist groups.]
  7. Organization of ordained ministers [No ministers of any kind.]
  8. Ordained ministers selected after completing prescribed courses of study [No courses of study.]
  9. Literature of its own [No literature reserved for one group.]
  10. Established places of worship [No worship.]
  11. Regular religious services [No religious services.]
  12. Sunday schools for the religious instruction of the young [No instructing the young.]
  13. Schools for the preparation of its members [No atheist schools.]

So no tax exemption for atheists.

Demonology relational is noted in Krishnaism, and also inferred in traditional Christianity.
Krishnaism notation of this, is very apt, and because of atheisms position , next to low level actual demonology, it is clear that atheism is a subset of demonology; in other words, same level of spiritual action.
Actually, I have come to suspect that we have a tendency to develop into spontaneous exorcists. Who better?

`Little fairies in the sky` could refer to the `angels in the sky` and their `gods` ?
Couldn't it ? Forget about the `gods` if you want to, but the `fairies` ?
It's all about the way one looks at it !

Religion means belief in G-d and doing what He says and respecting the humankind.
Regards

That's a very strange definition of religion. If either of those two conditions are not met, something isn't a religion. The result is most religions are not religions. Swaths of the religious right wouldn't be religions because they have a poor rack record on respecting humanity. And atheism couldn't be considered a religion since non-theism by definition rejects G-d.

Begs the question - why did you make this thread?

Nevertheless, it is not incorrect, and I believe the following:

[3:20] Surely, the true religion with Allah is Islam (complete submission). And those who were given the Book did not disagree but after knowledge had come to them, out of mutual envy. And whoso denies the Signs of Allah, then surely, Allah is quick at reckoning.
The Holy Quran - Chapter: 3: Aal-e-`Imran

Others are welcome to believe differently, with reasons and arguments if any, or none at all.

Do you just not read replies to all your threads asking nearly this same question? In asking so many times, without regard for how anyone responds, what do you feel this portrays? What are you trying to portray?

Sorry
Angles are not fairies, I believe the following:

[35:2] All praise belongs to Allah, the Maker of the heavens and the earth, Who employs the angels as messengers, having wings, two, three, and four. He adds to His creation whatever He pleases; for Allah has power over all things.
The Holy Quran - Chapter: 35: Fatir

Others are welcome to believe differently with reasons and arguments if any, or without.

If you want to say that only Islaam is a true religion, then I guess no one can stop you from doing so.

That does not mean that anyone should agree, however.

There is no relationship between fairies and Atheism people. Is there any, please?

The point is that people are free to believe or disbelieve in fairies as they please.

And the same is, and should be, true of belief in Ibrahim's God.

I belong to Ahmadiyya peaceful Islam, I gave my definition of the religion and quoted one aspect of it from a verse of Quran. I don't follow Atheist Alliance International, please. Right, please?

I also made it clear from a verse of Quran that there is no compulsion on anybody to believe or not to believe something, with reasons and or arguments if any, or absolutely none of them. All humans are to be respected and I do that. Right, please?

The angels' wings are their attributes they have been given by G-d to them for doing the jobs assigned to them. Right, please?

That verse is quoted often, and I expect that it will keep being quoted for a long time still.

I wonder how often Muslims try to interpret it, and how they reconcile it with their frequent presumption of choosing the beliefs of their own children - let alone of everyone else.

At face value, it is simply incongruous with Islaam as it presents itself.

The verse says "with Allah", others are not under any compulsion to go by it. Same way I am not under any compulsion to believe otherwise. Right, please?

Ok, then according to your definition of religion, what aspect of atheism fits your definition?

Atheism is a very passive, unremarkable stance.

Religion is very free-form, and there are definitely religions compatible with atheism (IMO all should be).

Research polls often present "atheism" as a possible answer for questions about religion as well (IMO a mistake and a misleading choice).

But it makes no sense to consider atheism a religion. It just doesn't have enough meat in its bones to even attempt to be one.
"Atheism is a very passive, unremarkable stance."

It is , I understand, one's stance and I realize that, but it does not depict all Atheism people. Does it, please?
