No to Fake Meat

But its not meat.

I saw a video of a vegan talking to someone who was eating chicken in front to them. They referred to the chicken as "someone". I'm sorry but people lose me with that kind of "thinking". Besides this lab meat has nothing to do with vegans or moral choices.
Some people look at animals differently. Look at pets.
I certainly wouldn't eat my dog or horse but some places would.

Do you think if that meat didn't come from someone that some vegans or vegetarians might be more inclined to adjust their dietary choices?

Don't sweat it. I can catch you up if you get lost.

Referring to an animal as "someone" is delusional.

Nothing suggests that's possible

Thank you.
Thanks and you are welcome.

Sometimes people don't like what I say, sometimes they do. It doesn't matter to me either way

I speak what I think trying to be fair, honest and with least bias that I can.

Someone may agree with what I said on Monday and then they may say I am full of crap for what I say on Tuesday. That's life lol

Let's put it this way: I'll take a vegan calling my chicken "someone" over a politician banning a food without any medical justification any day of the week.

Besides this lab meat has nothing to do with vegans or moral choices.

For some people, it does. For some, it doesn't.

Yes. I did so in the post you responded to.

So let's revisit the question...

Good. Your entirely uninformed and unsubstantiated claim is therefore disregarded.
If you did then, yes you are delusional. Not my fault.

You're the one running away. I told you I've said all I need to say.

That doesn't surprise me. Why does the justification need to be "medical"? Beyond that the banning isnt my issue. This will eventually be the only type of "meat" that will be available under the guise of being "good for the planet". Some poster here have already pitched that argument.

There isnt any reason to create lab meat when there already is meat.
There actually is. Think about it.

And probably not in your lifetime, but let's say there were tremendous scientific advances and you could buy lab grown meat at a very affordable price. And second, as a result of those low prices they made the killing of animals for meat illegal. What would you eat then?

I'm not "scared" of it at all. As I tried to explain, if it reduces the current industries I'm in favour of it. But on a personal consumption level I find it totally unappealing. I ate it until I was about 21 so I know what meat feels like in the mouth. I'm not going to eat lab meat for the same reason as I'm not going to eat kale, cabbage, turnip, swede or aubergine. Just a taste preference. The very smell of meat (lab grown or not) I find repulsive.
Try eggplant instead of aubergine:p Eggplant parmesan is to die for.
