Noah-Reviews?

Anyone seen it yet?

I heard that they changed the story from the Torah to include left wing environmentalism.

Any reviews?

I think I read someone on the forums here recently that someone said it was one of the best movies he ever saw or something. I don't recall.

I guess this movie has something to do with the building of a Noah and the Ark scene on top of the new movie theater that recently opened up in Jerusalem. I was wondering why they did that.

A great movie, even if you don't really care about religious topics, it's great.

And they only changed it slightly to include environmentalism, they mentioned that they weren't to eat meat a couple of times, but that's not really a main factor in there.

Over in the Netherlands, someone built a replica of Noah's ark based on the biblical dimensions, and guess what-- it isn't stable enough to float, and that's even without any animals in it. They plan on bringing it to the States, I believe sometime next summer, but they have to put flotation devices on each side to try and keep it upright.

As for the movie, I haven't seen it, and probably won't until it's on t.v., but I did hear that the special effects are actually very good.

I like the approach the movie took though. If you were on a flooded planet for that long, in a small, wooden ark, and with thousands of animals, you'd go psycho, at least in a real world, modern day scenario.
