Nobel Laureate:B .Russell on SIKHI

Russell became a fellow of the Royal Society in 1908. The first of three volumes of Principia Mathematica was published in 1910, which (along with the earlier The Principles of Mathematics) soon made Russell world famous in his field.

In 1950, Russell was made a Nobel Laureate in Literature, "in recognition of his varied and significant writings in which he champions humanitarian ideals and freedom of thought".

Russell left a large assortment of writing. From his adolescent years, Russell wrote about 3,000 words a day, in long hand, with relatively few corrections; his first draft nearly always was his last draft, even on the most complex, technical matters. His previously unpublished work is an immense treasure trove, and scholars are continuing to gain new insights into Russell's thought.

Russell had this to say about Sikhism. "That if some lucky men survive the onslaught of the third world war of atomic and hydrogen bombs, then the Sikh religion will be the only means of guiding them." Russell was asked that he was talking about the third world war, but isn't this religion capable of guiding mankind before the third world war? In reply, Russell said, "Yes, it has the capability, but the Sikhs have not brought out in the broad daylight, the splendid doctrines of this religion which has come into existence for the benefit of the entire mankind. This is their greatest sin and the Sikhs cannot be freed of it."

Sikhs can't stop sinning bcoz sins are generally coated with honey , World War 111 path seems more realistic to me !

lets hope for the best : WW3 :jester3:

So tell me Gursikh just why is it that it is so hard to get a hard copy of the complete Guru Granth Sahib?

You would think that the Sarbat Khalsa would take steps to make the Guru Granth Sahib more accessible. Isn't there some sort of Sikh publishing trust?

PS-
Still playing with sock puppets I see ;)
