Well - I threw Feathers In Hair's name in the ring. In my opinion, she is up against some excellent members in NetDoc, SOGFPP, and Martha - and I mean absolutely no disrespect to any of them - but since it is our first Member of the Month ever, I just feel like it should go to the member that is the absolute epitomy of what this world could be. I would love it, if at the end of the month, when all of the votes are totaled, FIH was a unanimous pick.

Lightkeeper - I guess that I read rule #2 and didn't absorb it. I will not be allowed to vote for FeathersInHair, but I will campaign relentlessly on her behalf.

NetDoc and I agree on some things, and disagree on others, but I have to say that if I were to pick only one item to agree on, this would be it.

If I can say that Deut is the most gifted member we have, in terms of his ability to make an excellent point and taint it with the purest of sarcasm, then I feel equally safe in saying that Feathers In Hair is the absolute sweetest person that graces these forums. She will be forced to undergo limited access for the upcoming months (hopefully, not too long), and I think we could do much worse (i.e. NetDoc or myself) in selecting the first Member of the Month for ReligiousForums.com. I am sure that it would be a great way for all of us to express the heartfelt sentiment that we will sorely miss her while she is gone.

Who among us could argue against the closest thing we have to an Angel on this site?

I have nothing but the greatest respect for SOGFPP, NetDoc, and Martha, and I feel extremely proud to be nominated with them - but for me, Feathers In Hair could be the postergirl for all of us here at RF.

If I nominate someone I can't vote at all?

What if I change my mind and decide I want to vote for someone else?

and someone beat me to it. i wanted to nominate netdoc. too bad we can't second and third the nominations. alas i suppose i'll put up with just voting then... :rolleyes:

Come on now, you too quick to jump the gun. Read the rules, you cannot vote for the person you nominated.

Although, the field IS filled with excellant choices and all deserve to be chosen by us to be the First Member of the Month.

I would also imagine that she has the advantage in a pillow fight!

Could you imagine if she named her first son "Luke"?
