Norway, the happiest country in the world (apparently).

Oh, I'm quite happy with my life. :)
I have a fullfilling and meaningful job, I make enough not to miss anything, I have good friends and family, a loving fiancè, hobbies that challenge my creativity...
Can't complain much really.

I don't know why you're dodging, yall are supposed to be happy. I'll try just one more time. What number rung are you on (according to the article that YOU linked), based on your happiness?

Sorry. Didn't quite get what you were aiming for. No dodging intended. ^_^
I guess most days I'm a 7 or 8.
Some days are better and some worse of course.

We have some, although nothing like Disney Land.
However, we do have some of the most stunning and beautiful nature found anywhere in the world, which many choose to take advantage of.
Hiking and skiing is very popular i Norway, and we are generally quite good at being 'tourists' in our own country.
Personally I take several walks in the woods on a weekly basis, and it tends to refresh my mind and make me feel more alive.
It's a great stress-reliever. :)

I was wondering if colder weather might be a contributory factor as well. Living in Arizona, I find that one can get especially cranky on those long hot days.

Another thing that's always struck me about Norway, at least when looking at it on a map (I've never been there), it's so long and narrow. Over 1000 miles long, yet in land area, it's only slightly larger than Montana. Have you ever driven from one end to the other (or is that even possible)?

You're using a man convicted and executed after the war (in Norway, by Norwegian courts) as an argument, more than 60 years later, for why we should not criticize Israel now?

Because Of Course he gave the Jews Of Norway to the Nazis ALL BY HIMSELF without ANY assistance by Other Norwegians RIGHT??,

TO me, there"s two nations who should just STFU about what Jews do to survive. Germany and Norway. Birds Of a Feather.

But whatever, I"m done here, be happy in your denial.

Personally I find the varm summers to be more of a problem than the cold winters.
In the winter you can always just put on varmer clothes if you're cold.
In the summer you can only take off so much. ;)

It is possible, and while I haven't driven from the exact southern point to the exact northern point, I have driven Norway from way south to way north.
It's a stunning ride and something I would recommend to anyone who loves nature.
The landscape changes as you come further north from being subdued farming land and gentle slopes, to steep wild mountains that fall directly into deep fjords.
There are many parks and other places to stop along the way, and more photo opportunities than you could ask for. :)

Nope, but we executed most of those as well.
Either way, that was more than 60 years ago and has little to do with the Norwegians who make up society now.
Your argument was silly, and you got called on it.
Deal with it.

As mentioned earlier, no-on is above being criticized.
No-one is right by default.

Oh, I'm generally quite happy.
Happiest country in the world, remember. ;)

In either case, have a nice weekend. :)
