Hi all. As I say I'm not exactly a newbie as I joined some time ago before the site went down for a while.

I have to say right from the start that I am a confirmed atheist and a devout believer in the big-bang science theory as to how we came into existance, so not a creationist.

Well I say not a creationist, we may well have been created by some alien race from millions of lightyears away as some kind of experiment but as for a spiritual being that made the firmament in 7 days? Not for me I'm afraid.

However, that doesn't mean I don't find debating the subject interesting because I do, I wouldn't be on here otherwise.

Bye for now, and I look forward to crossing swords with some of you.

Crossing swords? What, you didn't bring a light saber? I'm afraid some here pack light sabers...and sticks, and rifles (what better to ward off zombies?), and magic wands, and heavy bibles (lest we forget those). Well, at least you packed your weapon of choice I guess. ;)

Btw, the 2nd dish looks like chicken feet soup. I've had chicken & duck feet before, and they're not as good as they look.

I used to pack only my disbelief, but I found it hard to disbelieve a swift kick in the crotch.
So now I pack a shield in my avatar.
