Ya know.....taste in food is funny, fickle & flummoxing. That's probably why i never heard of it, i tend not to travel 5000 miles to buy tins of tuna when i can get it fresh from the market outside the front door.

Having eaten canned tuna long before fresh tuna, I find
that I prefer canned. I've even come to like the taste of
stale beer. (I don't drink beer much, so my supply gets
aged....not in the good way.)
In all seriousness, I was glad to see u return. Now, I remember why I stopped coming here. Ya'll should have reminded me.
You should see what happens to me when I hear a can opener operating.Fresh tuna marinated and lghtly cooked on a charcoal fire is one of the delights of the modern world
But we do buy a tin per week, the cat adores it and the strays think their ship has landed

I likes me canned tuna with some Balsamic vinegar.
Salads....those are the meat & potato dishes with some green flecks, right? My cats ear is tuned to can openers. If she gad opposable thumbs she wouldn't need me to open tins
Try a table spoon on balsamic vinegar, a table spoon of honey and s table spoon of whole grain mustard (or ordinary mustard will do) all mixed up.
Its great as a salad dressing too (you eat salads don't you?)
