NRA being investigated for Russian ties

Opinion or facts....I suspect opinion since there are no facts to backup your claim
Common sense. I'll help you out.

What % of the population supports the 2A? 90%? That's a bigger number than the measly 1.5% of NRA members.

You're under this false assumption that the only people who support the 2A are NRA members.

You support a crooked organization. Propaganda gotcha!

Absolutement. The majority of even the NRA membership, is in favor of reasonable restrictions on firearms.

The "leadership" (read: Russians or Russian-purchased) is against any and all limits.

In truth, they would be in favor of permitting personal nuclear weapons... so long as they get paid.

google.... the NRA has taken many-many illegal monies from the Russian Commies.

But you trumpie-lovers don't care about any of that...
My Gawd...and you have the nerve to repeatedly accuse me of lying.

That IS the consequences of the NRA's knee-jerk "oppose any and ALL laws regarding guns".

Unless, naturally, it's under Saint Ronnie-Raygun, and they are limiting the Free Speech of those African-American "thugs".... then? It's ban assault weapons with no discussion.

But really, the consequences of the NRA's position is ultimately permitting anyone to carry personal nuclear hand-grenades.

And lovers of the NRA? Are apparently too dimwitted or willfully ignorant to see that effect.

You make a claim.
And you want me to google your evidence?

That's a whole lotta lines & cameos.
But you're not making a cogent argument.

Note:
"Cameo" is not an abbreviation of "camel toe".
What's not cogent is why the "Patriotic" NRA, which advocates for the American 2A and weapons training, have ties to the Axis of Evil?

That doesn't sound very patriotic to me.

I'm not patriotic, so I'm OK with whatever ties advance gun rights.

You're not now. Good. Most sane people left the organization long ago. We'll wait for a current NRA member to chime in.
I plan to re-join.
The NRA is good for civil liberties.
But I'm an Olympic level procrastinator.

Even if as a secondary (or perhaps the primary) effect is an erosion of other civil rights?
That would be competing factors to balance.
I don't think your hypothetical is real though.
As I see it, the NRA is what the NRA does.
And they fight for gun rights (among other
good works).
