As I see it, the spirit of the antichrist would overcome (rapture) people's minds so they do what they wouldn't normally do. (Mind is often overcome by greed, hatred, or delusion.)

'anti christ' is a strange term but used by christians to label about anyone not accepting jesus as christ.

I do not know of a spirit of anti christ. People make choices based on what they have learned and believe.
