Well today has been boring and uneventful until the Mormon missionaries said that there's a game night at the young adults church I tried to make it but by the time I was almost there the missionaries informed me that it was oven so now I feel crushed about that so no the only thing left to do on this very disappointing night is go to the bank and then go home now I'm left feeling Insignificant and useless.

Chin up! I hate missed opportunities, but you’ll have a chance to socialize with others again (although I suggest avoiding Mormon missionaries—you can find “real” friends instead of spending time with people who just want to convert you).

Nope I don't fit into the Edmonton population so I don't think that I will find anyone.

I don't have money or a car so it's just not going to happen.
Neither do I. But at the end of the day, you can throw it all away (or sell it!) and buy a bus/train ticket if you get too desperate. I'm on the verge of doing that myself. I've known others who did it, too. Sometimes you just need to leave. That's at the extreme. In the meantime, you can get a job, try to save as much as you can and do what you need to do to get where you want. Take advantage of opportunities. Look into whatever resources you have in your area.

Winnipeg. Or perhaps Calgary or perhaps the United States as a third choice.

I'd look for alternatives to a religious thing for reasons stated above. How about your local news paper. Many groups advertise their functions in the local press. Also, supermarkets and shops often display help wanted, local jumble sales, friendly gatherings etc. its worth checking them out.

The best move i can suggest is make it work for you. Make a firm decision then work to make it happen. Find work and save everything you can to make it happen.

Though I'd spend a bit to take a few days in the place you decide and check it out. Don't just arrive and hope it'll be perfect.
