I should go do the dishes haha. Our visitors are the sort who don't mind a few dishes out, camping gear everywhere, piles of books. I'll go be productive too I guess.
Mine wouldn't care either but I'd probably feel embarrassed if I didn't at least make a bit of an effort.
I've noticed that the less I clean for a person, the more it means I like them.
My best friend was honored the day I told her that I'd made lunch right before she came. She knows where the kitchen is, hopefully there's a clean dish or two. If not, she can clean some herself or eat with her hands. She understood that meant she was now considered family.
You have an excuse. With the wife away for an extended period it's only me and I have all the time in the world. I try and invite people around every now and then when she's away because it forces me to clean.
Interesting. We have similar species here in the US.I have visitors coming tomorrow and I just tidied up so no better time to post my kitchen sink.

At least it's not so old it has a Hudee ring.
(How many here know what that is?)
You've never cleaned for me. Now that I think about it there are billions that have never cleaned for me. I had no idea.I've noticed that the less I clean for a person, the more it means I like them.

I guess everybody loves a filthy rabbit.
And a cook riding a sink didn't have the imposing threat of the nazgul."One ring to bind all the sinks"
was a phrase that just dint work out.
