If you're going to be posting stuff about your beliefs here then you should expect to see it thoroughly and intensively critiqued to the extent you'll probably get distracted from posting information in order to clarify points or counter arguments.

OK, so I had to look it up (not knowing what it was myself). I guess I should have figured it out from the prefix "om" (short for "omni" contracted with "ism") but I didn't. Anyway... Apparently, (according to google) omnism is a belief in all religions. I would be interested to know how one can hold so many mutually contradictory beliefs in one's head at the same time?... Just askin!
Most are not as far removed from each other as you seem to think. The basic tenets of most faiths are seen throughout many of the others.

just bear in mind that what I have posted so far is only about half of the tenet. I have spoken with other Omnists and we are in agreement about calling the book either The Omnist Tenet or The Omnist Axiom. It is something that is going to be constantly growing because it is a very fluid belief system. Omnism itself is still being defined since it is such a fledgling term and I can only suggest to approach it with an open mind and heart, and to take from it and add to it with both. There is quite a lot of editing involved in this and I am always open to honest constructive criticism. Since I have read this tenet/axiom (still not sure which I am using yet, but I like them both over bible) over and over in the editing process I can answer many things that may seem unclear, if I don't respond quickly it is either because I am thinking the question through, or the answer is already in there and I will direct you to what I have posted or will resolve it once I have finished editing and point you in that direction once I post it. I hope you all have long days and a pleasant nights.
