oneness doctrine true or false

This is such a confusing doctrine, but I'll give it a chance if it's truth. Opinions?
Oneness means that there is only one god and only one person is involved in the god head and not a trinity.
Jehovah reveals himself in many way, and the holy spirit, and Jesus are considered manifestations of the one true god.

I think you might need to give us the working definition of the 'oneness doctrine' for this discussion.

But anyway I believe God/Brahman/Oneness is All.

The oneness doctrine is basically called the Jesus only doctrine they believe Jesus is the father the son and the holy spirit.

Hi Paul,

Oneness believed the Father is the Son; the Son is the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is the Father. There is no distinction and only one person.

Thanks

I only really have more questions for it lol

If God in Christianity is one personality who can manifest in three or more representations...or three personalities with one Divine essence...what is anybody going to do with that?

So first is, other than semantics, how different could Oneness really be than Trinitarian concepts? Second, more importantly, how would any difference be useful? How could it possibly alter worldview or practices in a meaningful way?

I think trying to dissect, precisely label, and construct definitions goes too far in theology... people can start mistaking their labels, concepts, definitions, etc. for anything more than words endlessly scratching a surface.

Too easy to stress over, or even fight over, for no "sane reason" - since scripturally different passages say you can't intellectually grasp and analyze Divine nature/grandeur? It makes me interested in how often people go about the effort and it is fun to watch either way :D

Oneness is all there is, Yeshua is part of it, as everything stems from God...Yet Yeshua isn't the only manifestation of God, we all are, as discussed in every other religion globally.

To make it simpler, Heaven is Oneness, from there this whole reality is made manifest...To individualize only a part of it is idolatry, as it distracts from the Oneness of God, which has no image. :innocent:

I think that all this shows that there is no matter of fact at hand, or at least no means of discovering fact, so imagination runs riot.

I believe Jehovah is the only true God, as Jesus said he is. ( John 17:3) Neither Jesus nor the holy spirit are manifestations of Jehovah. Rather, Jesus was sent by God. (John 6:57) So was the holy spirit which is God's active force.(John 14:26)

Well I study with the witnesses, and I find that that makes sense however there are some challenging scriptures.
