Opinions On The Movie "I Spit on Your Grave"?

This movie was perfectly ingenious despite it's small budget... It's been a few years since I seen it, but from what I remember, it was pretty entertaining and satisfying...

I'm surprised that contemporary reviews actually said that this movie "glorified rape"... Like, really? Did they watch the whole movie or what? I mean, just because a movie shows rape doesn't mean that it's glorifying it. That's like saying that movies showing murder glorify murder....

Anyways, enough of my silly little rant, what do y'all think about this movie?

I haven't seen the original yet but I enjoyed the remake and its sequels.

I loved it, but that was decades ago, and remember my reaction to it more than the movie itself.

I recall that it seemed like two movies, one after another, the first the outrage, the second the revenge.
