And yet, the Psalms say: "Where can I hide from your presence...?" And , "Before I was in my mother's womb, you knew me." Jesus is called, "God With Us." No, we're not "born in separation." We become separated as we are in the process of living life.
the spirit is buried in the grave, the body. This is why Jesus referred to some as dead. To be awakened is the first resurrection. Otherwise the person is dead to the spirit and the death of the body is terrifying.

Adam and Eve were in that state until their eyes were opened.
Their eyes were opened to wisdom. That didn't put them into a "sin state." It did make it possible for them to make the choice to close their eyes and live in a waking dream.

Adam and Eve were with God and were expelled from that place. Now we are here in separation with God. But obviously we are not far and we can get the connection back.

I don’t believe that. God is as close as the beating of our hearts. Separation is an illusion, IMO.

Perhaps in some way. However, by what the Bible tells, in the beginning people were in different way with God. After God was rejected, the situation was not the same anymore. And that is what I mean with separation, or original sin, we don’ walk with God the same way, unless we get the connection back, which can happen by receiving what Jesus said.

When did Adam and Eve “reject” God???

When they rejected his words about the fruit and instead believed the “serpent” and ate the fruit.
The text doesn’t say they rejected God. That’s an inference on your part. And why is “serpent” in quotation marks? It doesn’t appear that way in the text. Another inference on your part? You’re doing an awful lot of interpreting for someone who Just “reads the Bible.”

It is obvious by what it tells, by not listening (obeying) God, they rejected God. It is interesting if you don’t understand it.
If I disobey my parents as a youngster, that doesn't imply or infer that I reject my parents. Therefore, I don't think the pericope has anything to with "obeying God." I think it has everything to do with gaining wisdom.

What the hell is the "real thing"? Do you think Adam and Eve are the REAL thing? Its an allegory about when humans stopped trusting in God's providence and began agriculture.

I believe you should read post #46.

I always believe God speaks the truth.

I believe that is conjecture. There is no reason to believe that other races were not already doing agriculture.

Well, there were TWO creation stories. One from Israel and one from Judea that were cobbled together during the reign of King Omri.

I believe I don't know anything about that. I do believe in two creation stories, one that is about the beginning of everything and another about the restoration of the Adamic race.

But if you know what is going to happen, it isn't as much fun. So the sealing, covering.

So in removing the mask, there you are

I believe I do know that I will be without sin for a long time but I doubt that sin is actually removed but is simply forgotten.

Agriculture began about 10,000 BC.. maybe with chic peas.

Remember that Israel and Judea were rivals .. often enemies who sometimes fought each other. Israel was more prosperous so there was jealousy. Judea thought the Northerners were Hellenized half breeds and bad Jews.
