Other dimensional beings vs spirits/souls

Just sharing my own perspective on this. Feel free to chime in...

I personally don't believe in the existence of "souls" or "spirits" as in the idea of non-physical or supernatural entities. I consider myself to be an atheist and a materialist. To me everything that could possibly exist or does exist is bound to a very real, very physical existence...everything in its entirety is purely physical and bound to physical laws. However, I do believe in the existence of something I would refer to as other dimensional beings. These are purely physical beings existing in a completely different physical dimension that lies beyond our human perceptions and beyond the scope of conventional physical detection. As physical beings bound to a different set of physical laws, they may at times be able to interact with us in very limited ways, but they otherwise remain in the confines of the unknown or the unknowable realm. Sometimes I call them ghosts.

I think our astral bodies, soul bodies exist in those dimensions. I am thinking the gap between runewolfism and spirituality is an illusion.

I agree with you. It's all the same, there is no gap. It's just that what some people view as spiritual I view as another separate physical reality we just don't understand.

I don't know. I'm not sure what is meant by other dimensions.

I would say a different dimension is a different reality or side to things that we simply don't know or realize is there. It may be just as real and physically existing as our own well understood physical reality, but we wouldn't know it because we are so grounded in the physics of this reality. If that makes any sense. Watch the movie Interstellar. It touches on this a little bit. Great movie BTW!

You raise an interesting point, namely that "spirits" may be physical entities in the sense they may exist on a different "frequency" - something akin to how different forms radiation exist as different frequencies on the electromagnetic spectrum. Normally, we can only see the "visible light spectrum." But some us have paranormal abilities (probably related to the activation of the third- eye) that allows us to see different entities (ghosts, shadow people, demonic entities, angelic beings, etc.) that exist on a different frequency.

Stephen Hawking - Shadow People - Global Warming 11/04/01

Stephen Hawking talks about difference dimensions and the possibility of
shadow people existing, war, the existence of god and global warming. A
quote that he says that stands out for me when he speaks of global
warming is.... "We might end up like Venus, boiling hot and raining
sulfuric acid" - Stephen Hawking

He is talking about Brane universes.

Our 'minds', 'souls', 'spirit' and consciousness are all physical in nature. Thousands of years of investigation has shown us that our brains comprise and produce our true selves, although because that for most of human history we have had no understanding of how our brains work most Humans have falsely believed inferred that we have souls1. Souls and spirits do not exist. Our bodies run themselves. We know from cases of brain damage and the effects of psychoactive drugs, that our experiences are caused by physical chemistry acting on our physical neurones in our brains. Our innermost self is our biochemical self.

“Human and animal mental processes look just as they can be expected to look if there is no soul or other immaterial component.”

String theory has a 11 dimensions.

" physical beings bound to a different set of physical laws"

Would be in another universe if they exist. They would also most likely have evolved differently.

Then there is QM physics and there it really get strange.

Or an antimatter you even from an antimatter universe.

We have detectors that can "see" most of the electromagnetic spectrum, so where are these ghosts hiding?

I don't know. Maybe you should ask Stephen Hawking where he figures these "shadow stars, shadow galaxies, and shadow people" are hiding? I propose they exist in an entirely different physical realm not necessarily bound by our laws of physics as we know them. Perhaps they can interact with us, but in very limited ways. Perhaps they can affect electromagnetic frequencies (cause an EMF detector to go haywire for example), but are not entirely dependent on those frequencies.

Anything's possible, but why are you proposing something which we have no way of detecting? Or have you personally experienced something?

I don't know. I'm not sure what is meant by other dimensions.
You're familiar with the three dimensions we perceive, but if we inhabit a 10 or 11 dimensional reality, as posited by some physicists, there's a lot out there we're missing entirely.

Label our three dimensions one, two and three. There could be a three ring circus right in front of your nose, playing out in dimensions five, six and seven, and you'd be completely unaware of it.

Imagine some perturbation in the fabric of the universe; a tear or fold or wormhole that shifts dimensions 6-8-9 onto our 1-2-3 world. We might find ourselves face to face with a Little green man, a sasquatch or an "angel" from 6-8-9 world.
Or we could take some consciousness expanding drug that enabled us to process dimensions beyond our usual three. We could be watching that circus.

Yes I don't believe in all that as well, but I do like to use metaphors with that sort of stuff within it, sometimes words just don't help.

Not just different (higher) frequencies but also different dimensions (beyond our known 3; 4th?, 5th?,6th?.....). There seems to be almost unanimous consent about this with the serious clairvoyant masters. Our astral, soul, heaven, etc. planes are actually composed of matter of higher vibratory and dimensional levels. Only pure consciousness Brahman is not matter and is the basis for all matter.

Remember, even science knows our known three-dimensional matter is only a trifle of the universe.
