What a cute question, Maya! As a human, I neither had a previous birth, nor will I have a future birth. Of course, what constitutes me (i.e., Brahman), was in a billion forms and will continue to be in billion forms. My age, as it seems, is around 13.75 billion years. I do not know as to how long will I live. Only Hinduism understands this (though Buddhism side-steps the question for other reasons).
I think that the "karmic conditioning" that has resulted in my current state of being, most definitely can be traced back to India. How else could you explain why I'm so fascinated by Indian culture, religion, food (not to mention why I find Indian women so attractive hehe)? How many white Americans do you know who would tell you that 2 of their favorite books are the Bhagavad Gita and the Upanishads? Clearly whatever forces have resulted in my current state of consciousness can be traced back to India. I don't claim to fully understand the Buddhist doctrine of rebirth or the Hindu doctrine of reincarnation; but for the sake of this discussion, I will say that I was a Buddhist or Hindu many times in my past lives.
Yep. I understand.I transmigrated from a million different bodies. One atom of my right hand middle-finger tip with which I just typed 'm' came from a grain of wheat which grew up in Madhya Pradesh (for example, in Kansas) but another atom of my left hand middle-finger tip came from a lentil grain which grew up in Maharashtra (take it as New Mexico). Such is the apparent state of affairs. I hope you get my meaning.
How large is the bag of chips with you? It is only one night and I can sustain myself on chips but they should be there whenever I put my hand in the bag. Chai or coffee when you come down from the mountain.I only have San Pellegrino Aranciata Rossa to drink and a bag of chips,
Well Aup, I came down early this morning and back to the Hilton where my faimly is staying (daughter is scared of spiders). Didn't sleep much, then needed a hotel shower and charge my cell phone up. There is no chai here! No breakfast as far as I know, but we are hitting the road. Boring.
Now we are off for the next adventure and future interesting dreams. And to find food.
Jai Hind!
Since there has been a lot of talk about other religions lately, I would like to ask you this;
Which religions did you believe in in your past lives? Did you think that all other religions were false then too, or is it just in this life that you think that?
