Whether it be through prayer or heartfelt concern, I'm sure that all of us wish to express our empathy with those facing the threat and uncertainty of this onrushing hurricane. May their morning bring peace ... shalom.

Well said Deut; I don't know about empathy, because I have never experienced anything like that, but my thoughts and prayers will be with those unfortunate enough to still be in the affected area.


I understand that the hurricane is now classed as category 5 - I cannot even imagine what that will be like.:(

I watched the news abit about the Katrina Aftermath. It look horrible. I remember some of the Weather Channel ancors saying Katrina was the worst hurricane that they have been through.

Rex, is the Martial Law just in parts of the state effected by Katrina or the whole state?
