This past weekend I took my grandson to a roller rink for a birthday party of a classmate. He'd never been on skates before and was struggling. I used to skate pretty well 20 years ago so thinking it was like riding a bike I put on a pair of skates to try to help my grandson. Well...this grandma can no longer even stand on the things...it was quite amusing to try to stand up or try to even take one step. I'd loved to have had someone with a camcorder recording my expression( it had to be a dosey) and since I found that to be sadly funny I thought I'd give you all something to smile about in telling my story of growing out of roller skating.

smiles to all,:)

Thanks for smiling with me...I imagine my first impression look when realizing I couldn't stand on them was hilarious...I wasn't smiling then but can after the fact. I guess we have the choice to laugh or cry in these situations as we age...I chose to laugh. I'll find something else I can do:149: ..I know I can:jam:
