Are they for board games, RPGs, or games of chance (like craps)? Or should they just be fuzzy and hang off your rear view mirror?

They're for estimating one's chances of not being murdered after cutting off someone in another lane.

WWMRD?
If using two standard 6 siders if you roll them enough times you will end up with snake eyes at some point so it pays to know when to stop rolling the dice.

I loath things like that and believe hanging distracting toys from your rear view mirror should be banned in the interest of road safety.

If you have a mark on your windscreen that can obscure forward vision it is ground for failure of the periodic safety check. Yet you are free to dangle huge fluffy blocks that obscure vision. Why?
