OTOH, to defend Trump, we have to remember that laws and the Constitution don't apply to him.
No, they just confuse him, ask Barr.

Hey, you're right! Now come and arrest us (hahaha)...

Where can I find it in voter law?Encouraging voters to try to vote twice.
Are you really laughing at a felony conviction?
Trump's suggestion of verifying one's vote was countedSure. Why not?
I'm not going into detail about what Ms. Pelosi and Mr. Trump did within just this past few days because precisely what they did is not the topic of this thread. The topic of this thread is why is Ms. Pelosi getting all the attention when Mr. Trump seems to have committed the greater transgression? Is it because American's are far more scandalized by what someone who does not routinely flaunt the rules does than they are by someone who daily flaunts the rules?
Whatever the case, this is a sign we're screwed.
I don't think taking off her mask when useful for hair serviceIt's bizarre that Pelosi is slammed when she takes off her mask in a salon to have her hair washed, but Trump and Pence were seen multiple times without a mask...Pence one in a HOSPITAL FULL OF SICK PEOPLE and the same people who would attack Pelosi didn't say a word.
I don't think taking off her mask when useful for hair service
is the problem here. I see 2....
- Getting salon access that isn't legal for the masses.
- Blaming the owner, subjecting her to threats of violence.
Trump's suggestion of verifying one's vote was counted
strikes me as dumb & ill considered rather than felonious.
And trust me...I know felonies...well, just one (that I know of).
The owner denies Pelosi's claims.I only saw people complaining about the mask. so salons were not allowed to open in that state? If so, then I can see the issue. But what about the owner that decided to break the law. did Pelosi hold a gun on her until she opened it?
I've heard that ballots will be counted well after theI still think you're missing the point. If I'm not mistaken your mail-in ballot has to reach the Registrar before a certain date. This is why you have to mail it by a certain time. When your ballot is received, you are, in effect, removed from the voter roll. If you show up on voting day and your name is still there, then the Registrar did not receive your mail-in ballot. If you vote in person your name, again, is taken off the active register so even if your ballot comes in late, it will not be counted. Dumb? Hardly.
I've heard that ballots will be counted well after the
in-person voting. But I'm no expert on this.
Finish your bleach, first.Hey, you're right! Now come and arrest us (hahaha)...

It's all too complex for me.Only if you are still listed on the active register. If you voted in person, your mail-in would be null and void. If this wasn't the case, this whole exercise would be moot.
BTW, receiving the mail-in ballot is not the same as counting the ballot as a vote. It just means your ballot has been received and may be pending.
